MANCHESTER, England, September 16, 2010 - IVA (www.iva.org.uk/) experts at MoneySolve have condemned
irresponsible lenders who contribute to the growing number of personal debt
problems in the United Kingdom.

The press has been quick to pick up recently on credit offers from major
lenders that, in some cases, offering cheaper credit than prior to the
recession.

MoneySolve's experts fear this could add to the growing number of UK
insolvencies, saying:

"Of course, on a personal level we all have to take some responsibility
for the money we borrow and for paying it back. But lenders have to be held
accountable in instances where borrowers are able to obtain credit limits
that are essentially way beyond their means. The lenders and providers are
supposed to be the experts here and if we're really going to tackle the
growing personal debt problem, there have to be tougher restrictions in place
on lending. Every year we see more and more people becoming insolvent and in
many of the cases we deal with here, consumers lending more than they can
realistically pay back plays a large part in their problems."
