Isolux Corsan Wins a new Contract in Gabon to Bring Electricity Into 33 Rural Villages

The Project has a Budget of EUR34.6m. It Includes the Installation of 20 Kilometres of 225 kV Power Lines and the Construction of a 20/20 kV Substation Transformer.

MADRID, February 17, 2011 - Isolux Corsan will be widening its footprint on the African
continent, where it runs power projects in seven countries, having just won a
new contract from the government of Gabon to electrify 33 rural villages in
the north-east of the country, in the provinces of Estuaire and Moyen-Ogooue.

The project will require a capital outlay of EUR34.6m. Isolux
Corsan must complete it within 30 months. It will install 200 kilometres of
20 kV power lines, of which 140 kilometres will run between Kango and
Lambarene and the other 60 kilometres between Bifoun and Ndjole. As part of
the project, it will also build a 225/20 KV substation transformer in Bifoun.

This operation will supply power to over 10.000 villagers in
rural areas that currently have no access to electricity. It forms part of
the Gabonese government's modernisation plan to encourage economic
development in the country and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
At present, the electricity access rate in Gabon is roughly 60%, with power
reaching 80% of the urban environments and 35% of the rural areas. The
government aims to guarantee 100% coverage by 2020.

The agreement between the Gabon government and Isolux Corsan
to implement this rural electrification project was signed by the minister of
Energy & Hydraulic Resources, Regis Immongault, and the Isolux Corsan
representative in the Afircan continent, Jose Augusto Anes, in the presence
of the prime minister and head of government, Paul Biyoghe Mba.

Other electrification projects

Isolux Corsan has a robust track record for creating power
supply in the African continent. It has already proven its expertise in
several projects, worth EUR100m, over a total of seven countries: Angola,
Algeria, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Morocco, Mauritania and Mozambique. At
present, the company is operating rural electrification projects in Angola
(Kwanza Sul, Malange and Cabinda-Landana), Mauritania (Rosso-Boghe) and in
Gabon (Libreville-Cap Esteiras and Franceville Okondja) for an additional
EUR150m.
