At the forthcoming IV International Conference <> the main discussions will arise around the possible consequences of passing the 3rd legislative package for the internal EU energy market, as well as the outcome of the Prague meetings on the <> and <>.

Various international gas pipeline projects are expected to be discussed. The results of international meetings devoted to the mechanisms of energy supplies security will be appraised. In particular, the formation of an appropriate legal framework and UN institutions and other international organizations will be examined.

During the preparation for the conference in Berlin, the Russian Gas Society has performed considerable work collecting proposals and analyzing the positions of the Russian professional communities, as well as representatives of legislative and executive authorities. Knowledge of the proposals and analysis of the positions will expand the circle of participants of the Berlin discussions and on the basis of frank exchange of views will enable to bring positions closer together and find solutions acceptable to all contracting parties.
