Leading Medical Device Manufacturers of CE-Marked THV Devices Sign Contracts with ClinFlows

THV device manufacturers are involved in projects using ClinFlows´ decidemedical online platform to support clinical proctoring activities. The new, minimally invasive, treatment of aortic valve stenosis, transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) marks a new era in cardiac surgery. A key factor for success in the management of these complex interventions is patient selection.

The decidemedical platform helps to reduce costs by increasing the efficiency of proctoring activities and patient screening.

Participating hospitals upload clinical data and medical images online, allowing proctors and specialists to review patient data, check patient eligibility remotely for the TAVI procedure and to communicate with the sites instantly. “We have reduced our turn around time dramatically and eliminated the need to send, copy and chase DVDs and our physicians at the hospitals just love it,” says a key project manager responsible for training and education at a leading Global TAVI medical devices company.
