Lily, Olivia, or Nellie for the Camerons?

Names that go with Nancy and Arthur

LONDON, August 25, 2010 - As the Camerons try to decide on a name for their new daughter,
who arrived unexpectedly whilst the couple holidayed in Cornwall, baby names
popularity stats released from Bounty Parenting Club today reveal that the
top names for girls born in Truro are Lily, Olivia and Ruby.

These names are closely followed by Mia, Amelia, Evie and
Daisy - all of which would certainly fit well with the new Cameron's
siblings' traditional names of Arthur and Nancy.

Or perhaps Sam Cam will continue the trend she began with her
first born girl, whom she named after her famous relative, Nancy Astor, who
was the first lady of politics. Other Astor ancestors include Madeline and
Ava.

Faye Mingo, spokesperson for Bounty.com, said: "We expect that
the Camerons will plump for quite an old fashioned, pretty name such as
Eleanor or Elizabeth. However, if the couple wanted to choose a traditional
yet more quirky name they may consider Mabel, Pearl or Nellie. Although, old
fashioned names that have not have stood the test of time should be avoided
such as Bertha, Gertrude and Mildred."

As well as a more traditional first name, the Camerons are also
looking for 'something Cornish in the middle' so whether they'll plump for
Kerensa which means 'love', Rosenwyn, which translates as 'a fair maiden', or
Lowenna, 'joyful', to mark their surprise arrival - the British public will
have to wait and see.

Faye Mingo added, "Choosing a baby name can certainly be one
of the most difficult decisions parents have to make, in a recent study we
found that one in five parents regret the names they have chosen for their
children. This just goes to show how important it is that the Camerons find a
name they and their new little girl will love for the rest of their lives."
