In No.1 and No.6 halls, many types of electric and hybrid electric
vehicles are highlights of participating enterprises and professional
visitors. In the BYD exhibition zone in No.1 hall, new energy technologies
and urban public traffic electrification solutions such as electric buses,
F3DM dual-mode electric vehicles, e6 fully electric vehicles and charging
poles and cabinets have captured visitors' attention.

In No.7 hall, a bamboo-made low carbon house catches visitors' eyes. The
house features a recycling septic tank. After waste water has been purified,
it can be used to either flush the toilet or water the flowers. Materials on
the roof not only insulate but can also provide solar energy. In the door, a
patented powerless air conditioner is used. It is worth mentioning that this
house can be assembled and disassembled many times so as to avoid waste from
removal.

At the Aoke Lin Company exhibition booth, a large sign reads, "low-carbon
technology and green life." Within the booth are kitchen refuse degrading
machines of different sizes. Of them, the household type is the size of a
small single-tube washing machine. Leftover vegetables and rice easily fit
into it. After 24 hours, they will be degraded into gray soil; then, after 20
days of natural fermentation, they will become natural organic fertilizer.
When you put the fertilizer into a flower basin, the flowers or grass will
flourish.

The booth of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University also makes low carbon
and environmental protection its theme. It products are also "green", such as
"mycar", a fully electric vehicle; production of degradable plastics with
industrial wastewater; production of building material with waste glass
bottles and solar energy air conditioning system for vehicles.

Going around the exhibition halls of CHTF 2010, you will surely find that
low carbon will make our life much better with the drive of science and
technology behind it.
