The earrings were commissioned by Miss Middleton's parents, Michael and
Carole Middleton, and have been given to their daughter as a wedding present.

They are diamond set stylised oak leaves with a pear shaped diamond set
drop and a pave set diamond acorn suspended in the centre.

Inspiration for the design comes from the family's new coat of arms which
includes acorns and oak leaves and the earrings were made to echo the tiara.

Robinson Pelham is a well established jeweller based in Pimlico, London,
who make privately commissioned pieces as well as produce seasonal
collections. The company was set up over 15 years ago by Kate Pelham Burn,
Vanessa Chilton and Zoe Benyon.

All the jewellery was made by hand by British craftsmen.
