DALLAS, April 27, 2011 - Netherland, Sewell & Associates, Inc. (NSAI) is pleased to announce that
it will conduct a Shale Gas Seminar at the Grange City Hotel in London on 13
June 2011
. This one-day seminar will provide a basic understanding of shale
formations, various shale plays, and the factors to be considered in
appraising and developing a shale play.

The technical staff of NSAI works with multiple clients on all of the
currently productive and emerging shale plays in North America. They have
expanded this expertise to projects all over the world, including Australia,
Europe, and South America.

The Shale Gas Seminar will be conducted by two of NSAI's shale experts,
geoscientist Bill Knights and engineer Rick Talley. "Our experience in
evaluating shale reserves and resources over the last 10 years gives us a
unique perspective on the science of shale oil/gas, as well as the
opportunities and risks associated with shale production. This seminar will
give you an understanding of the fundamentals of shale characteristics that
are crucial in evaluating the numerous emerging shale opportunities
throughout the world," said Knights.

The complimentary Shale Gas Seminar is a logical extension to NSAI's very
popular and highly regarded Annual Oil & Gas Property Evaluation Seminar,
which has been conducted in Dallas since 1995 and in London since 2009. The
2011 Oil & Gas Seminar is scheduled for 14 - 15 June in London, also at the
Grange City Hotel. The two-day Oil & Gas Seminar is targeted to non-technical
financial professionals in the petroleum industry who desire a better
understanding of the various aspects of reserves evaluations and reports. The
new Shale Gas Seminar will answer the demand for a more technical session on
shale gas, covering topics such as the geology of shale formations,
production characteristics, recovery factors, economics, and
resources/reserves classification.
