The new website www.magnesiumsquare.com offers a lot of general
information about the metal magnesium and its specific material properties.

Morgo Magnesium Ltd., situated in Zutphen, (affiliated with Morgo
Aluminium), supplier of extruded magnesium profiles and sheets/plates to the
manufacturing industry, has launched this website specifically aimed at
innovative companies.

The website provides a database from which the specifications of the
various alloys can be downloaded. The various production techniques can
be viewed through slide shows. As well as a series of machining of the
material, which are implemented in the production of Morgo Magnesium.

The new internet site can be used as a reference book and library.
Everybody who has an interest in the various applications of magnesium may
after registration bring up subjects for discussion in the forum.

Magnesium is an innovative material with interesting characteristics as
its weight (35% lighter than aluminium, 75% lighter than steel), strength
(almost similar to aluminium), high durability and damping capacity.
Magnesium has high thermal conductivity, is sustainable and is easy to
recycle. Magnesium extrusions and diecasts are already used in the
automotive, aerospace, sports and leisure industry.

Magnesium extrusions and sheet will be used in several other lightweight
