MANCHESTER, England, March 16, 2010 - Solar panel installation(www.solarchoice.uk.com/) specialists,
Solar Choice have praised the forthcoming introduction of the UK feed-in
tariff, which will come into effect in April 2010.

The UK feed-in tariff means that homes or businesses choosing to install
solar PV will be paid for every single unit of electricity they generate -
including the units they use themselves! The rates at which they will be paid
will depend greatly, on the type and size of the system installed, but will
start at 29.3p per unit and rise to 41.3p. Any excess units of electricity,
generated by the household or business, can be sold back to the grid, for
which they will be paid an additional 3p per unit.

Speaking this week, Solar Choice Sales Director, Ajay Hargreaves said,
"This is a fantastic opportunity for people to get, not only tremendous value
for money, but to actually profit from their solar panel installation. In
realistic terms, a return of between 8% and 10% p.a. is more than achievable
from investing in the installation of solar panels. The Government incentives
should really encourage the British public to get on board with solar power."

That is indeed, what the Government will be hoping for, having pledged at
the Copenhagen Conference, last December, to cut carbon emissions by 60% by
the year 2050. The UK now joins a whole host of developed nations (including
Germany, France, Spain, Hungary, Latvia, Australia and many more ) in
introducing a feed-in tariff (FiT) by way of encouragement.

Solar Choice supplies and installs solar PV panels for homes and
businesses.
