A few months away from the complete liberalisation of the European postal market and in a context of economic crisis, national organisations are implementing strategies to develop customer loyalty. Whether it is through improved cost control or through the creation of new services, for those in the postal industry requirements have become more stringent as far as quality, reliability, performance, user-friendliness and equipment safety are concerned.

Postal operators are rationalising their processing chain to be as competitive as possible. For them, it means using the best technologies in order to achieve the efficiency, performance and profitability that will let them take advantage of the open market.

In this context, SOLYSTIC offers innovative solutions to help postal operators modernise their mail processing procedures: Large and small format sorting machines, carrier route sequencing equipment, address recognition, integrated solutions…

Each year, SOLYSTIC invests 10% of its Turnover in Research & Development. SOLYSTIC also files applications for about thirty patents annually, proof that the company is a pioneer in research and the implementation of innovative solutions.

In 2005, SOLYSTIC had already presented its innovation in terms of processing postal objects: the V-IdTM. This virtual identifier, that allows mail to be sorted without printing bar codes, captivated several postal operators. The French Post Office adopted it the same year and has used it in its international mail processing Hub. Recently, Itella, the Finnish Post Office, also obtained V-IdTM to process mail throughout the country, for both small and large formats.

In 2007, SOLYSTIC launched the MARS C4, a machine capable of sorting mail by carrier route sequencing

SOLYSTIC will be at Post-Expo once again this year, and once again the company will be proud to present its latest innovations.
