Expands Development and Licensing of Market-Leading Video and Audio Codec Technologies and Content Creation SDKs

integration of MainConcept, the world's leading producer of video and audio
codec software development kits (SDKs), into Sonic's new Professional
Technology Division. As part of the integration, Sonic has formed a
Professional Technology Division which combines MainConcept with Sonic's
professional products group to offer a broad application and technology
portfolio that includes industry-standard DVD, BD, and interactive authoring
technologies, codec engines, and SDKs for content creation, compression, and
