CALGARY, Canada, March 23, 2010 - Packers Plus and Schlumberger have successfully completed the first
ever subsea StageFRAC(TM) multi-stage fracturing completion for BP
Exploration in the North Sea. The well was in the Machar field, 250 km
directly east of Aberdeen, Scotland.

"This was the most successful well ever drilled in this field," said
Dario Lisi, BP Well Teams Leader based in Aberdeen, UK.

"Although Packers Plus is very well respected in North America for
multi stage fracturing with StageFRAC technology, this was a first for the
North Sea," said Packers Plus Technical Sales Manager in Europe, Paul
Higginson
. "We kept the customer fully informed all the way and our service
quality was reflected in the extremely positive written feedback Packers
Plus received from BP for all aspects of the job."

From the BIGORANGE(x) XVIII stimulation vessel, seven acid fractures
were successfully placed in the best sections of the reservoir. Due to the
expertise provided by the Packers Plus and Schlumberger personnel, the
operation went very smoothly and was completed 11 days ahead of schedule.

"Not only were time and cost savings realized through the completions
operation, but the well came in significantly higher than expected,
prompting the operator to consider more open hole StageFRAC completions in
the Machar offshore field," said Packers Plus President Dan Themig. "Our
system provided focused isolation for targeted fracture and individual
stage shut-off capabilities for potential future water encroachment."

Compared to cementing and perforating a liner, the combination of the
Packers Plus StageFRAC system and Schlumberger stimulation services saved
the operator money and reduced risk to personnel.

StageFRAC technology is making a significant impact on reserve
recovery in oil and gas formations around the globe. Packers Plus continues
to push the envelope on multi-stage fracturing technology with their new
StageFRAC HD system, which provides higher density stages to fulfill
operators' needs.
