LONDON, February 12 - SAVE THE DATE and REGISTER NOW for the 25th International Conference of
Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI). The theme is "Dementia: Making A
Difference." The location is the Grand Hotel Palace, 305-307 Monastiriou
Str., Thessaloniki, Greece.

"We welcome you to create connections, share experiences, gather
knowledge and make a difference to the lives of those affected by dementia,"
said Dr. Daisy Acosta, Chairman of ADI.

"We invite you to remember the people who can not remember today because
of dementia, and join our efforts to reduce the number of people with
dementia in the future all over the world," said Professor Magda Tsolaki,
President, Greek Association of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders.

Plenary sessions at the conference will feature world leaders in
Alzheimer's, and will focus on:

    - The latest developments in medical treatments, including new therapies
that may be approved in the next five years.
    - Beneficial treatments without drugs.
    - Earlier detection and prevention of Alzheimer's.
    - Best practices in dementia care, including new approaches to home
care. Plus, changes in the delivery of care - from a standard offer of
services into care that works from individual needs.

In addition, the ADI conference will celebrate countries successfully
bringing dementia to the attention of governments and public health agencies
- such as the development of national Alzheimer/dementia plans in France,
Norway and the U.K., and the European Alzheimer's Initiative developed by the
European Commission. Attendees will discuss building on these efforts to make
dementia a global health priority.

Other sessions will cover "Arts and dementia," "Supporting and educating
family carers," and "Training professional carers." Several people with
Alzheimer's/dementia will make presentations about their experiences. ADI
will present two awards in psychosocial research and two photography awards.
