60% of UK Respondents Agree That the Right Decison was Made to Close Airports Following the Volcanic Eruption
By Toluna, PRNETuesday, April 20, 2010
LONDON, April 21, 2010 - On April 20th, Toluna launched a QuickSurvey to 1,000 UK-based
respondents to understand the impact of the recent volcanic eruptions on
travel. We found that while the majority were not personally affected, most
agreed that the NATC made the right decision to close airports and suspend
flights.
Approximately 19% stated they would be concerned about the impact of
suspended travel on their job, while another 31% said they would enjoy the
extra time they had abroad.
While many were inconvenienced this week, more than 62% of respondents
said that a world without international flights would have a negative impact
on our economy and business.
