LONDON, October 27, 2011 -

- Former Managing Director of WWP’s MIG to Lead Business Development and Operations, the company that connects video advertising buyers and publishers directly on one platform, today announced that it has appointed digital industry veteran Brian Fitzpatrick as European Managing Director.  The announcement follows the company’s successful launch in the UK earlier this year, over which time it has experienced growth of 300 percent, three times that of the European market.*

In his role, Fitzpatrick is charged with leading the growth of agency, ad network and publisher partnerships as well as the management of operations across all European markets. Most recently, Fitzpatrick was managing director for Europe for The MIG (Media Innovation Group), a WPP Digital company, where he oversaw the enterprise from start-up to one of the industry’s most successful agency technology businesses.  Previous positions include roles at Lycos Europe, GAME UK Ltd., and Mediacom where he helped brands take their first steps in online advertising in 1997 when the medium was in its infancy.

“ has experienced tremendous growth since launching our European operations earlier this year,” says Toby Gabriner, president of  ”The addition of Brian will support our fast-paced growth and ensure that we are providing our customers and partners with the highest level of service.”

“Advances in technology mean that online video advertising is now receiving the attention and budget it deserves,” explains Fitzpatrick.  ” has an impressive team and track record, and is ideally placed to be at the forefront of the industry.  This role is a great opportunity to play a part in its growth, particularly as trends in video viewership expand beyond the television and the ad budgets that are sure to follow.”

*The Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) bi-annual report produced in conjunction with PwC and WARC reports a growth of 100% in the European online video market in the first half of 2011. (
