The holiday provider say that over the last few months they have seen a huge increase in the number of people booking holidays to Sharm el Sheikh.

The chairman of the General Authority for Tourism in South Sinai, Salem Saleh, stated that the overall hotel occupancy in South Sinai is currently 60 per cent and occupancy in Sharm el Sheikh’s five-star hotels is 82 per cent. Saleh also emphasised that tourism in South Sinai is continuing to show activity this month. Beat The Brochure say that this increase is down to an upsurge in the number of British tourists visiting the region.
