Charlie Rose, which airs on more than 220 Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) channels in the U.S., will broadcast a next-day international edition on the Emmy(R) award winning BLOOMBERG TELEVISION(R) network. Monday through Friday evenings, viewers everywhere will see a special edition of the previous night’s CHARLIE ROSE that can include additional footage, commentary and illustrative data. The global BLOOMBERG RADIO(R) services will air the program nightly, and the BLOOMBERG.COM(R) Web site and Bloomberg mobile applications will deliver clips of the program and provide links to program content.

“For the past 18 years, our program has been dedicated to the idea of good conversation across the spectrum of human curiosity. We now make it a true global conversation. Along the way, Thirteen/WNET, PBS, Charlierose.com, Bloomberg, supportive underwriters and a dedicated staff have enabled us to reach for a true global dialogue that defines who we are and where we are. This new partnership with BLOOMBERG TELEVISION is a unique and powerful opportunity to introduce to a new audience the ideas, actions and people that shape our destiny. I could not be more appreciative and excited,” said host Charlie Rose.

“Charlie is a rare fellow in the television business. He is a remarkable interviewer and tremendous journalist, and his show is ‘a must see’ for thought leaders and the most influential audience in the U.S.,” said Andy Lack, CEO of Multimedia at Bloomberg.

“Now Charlie’s nightly program is destined to become a worldwide brand,” Lack added.

Charlie Rose engages the most interesting and insightful politicians, scientists, business leaders, writers, entertainers and athletes in one-on-one conversations and roundtable discussions. The program is produced and taped at Bloomberg L.P. headquarters in New York City. The rebroadcast on Bloomberg’s multimedia platforms makes this content available to more than 200 million viewers and listeners worldwide.
