Cyber Monday Busiest Online Trading Day in the UK is 6 December

Spending predicted to exceed last year's Cyber Monday by 15 percent

LONDON, December 2, 2010 - CyberMonday.co.uk announced that the second annual Cyber Monday in the UK
will be 6 December. For the first time, a number of UK retailers including
PIXmania, Historic Newspapers and Prezzybox will have Cyber Monday sales to
coincide with the busiest trading day of the year. The Cyber Monday peak can
be attributed to workers receiving their last pay cheque before Christmas,
taking advantage of fast Internet at the office, needing packages delivered
early before December holiday leave and most importantly, finding better
prices online.

Although the term 'Cyber Monday' was coined in the U.S. in 2005, it was
not until 2008 that a significant number of U.S. retailers began using the
term in their promotional campaigns. Now, nearly 90% of U.S. online retailers
have Cyber Monday promotions from Amazon to Expedia to Walmart. Matthew
Cheng, creator of CyberMonday.co.uk sees a similar pattern emerging in the
UK. Cheng predicted, "Spending on Cyber Monday will exceed last year's 417M
GBP by 15% to 480M GBP. In the U.S., online spending on Cyber Monday exceeded
$1B, thanks to U.S. retailer's aggressive Cyber Monday promotions."

PIXmania began its Cyber Monday sale on 29 November and is running the
campaign until 6 December. Ulric Jerome, MD of PIXmania commented, "This
