By Telecoms Iq, PRNETuesday, April 19, 2011
LONDON, April 20, 2011 - The mobile advertising market significantly expanded in 2010 and
continues to grow; 88 percent of advertisers plan to be active in mobile in
2011 (Source: Association of National Advertisers). With this heavy
advertiser investment in mobile, operators are taking advantage of this
potentially lucrative revenue stream.
Turkcell are clearly one of Europe's leading operators in regard to
mobile advertising and Elvin Altun, their Mobile Marketing Unit Head, will be
speaking at Mobile Advertising (www.mobileadvertisingeurope.com). He
will be examining the power of mobile over alternative advertising and
marketing channels and evaluating the success of Turkcell's mobile and
advertising strategy and the ROI that they have achieved.
Elvin will be joined in the speaker line-up by other thought-leaders in
the mobile advertising field, including:
- Shaun Gregory, Managing Director of O2 Media, Telefonica O2 UK
- Ludovic Levy, Director of Mobile Advertising, Orange
- Sergio Cozzolino, Mobile ICT Solutions VP & GSMA Smart Card Group
Chairman, Telecom Italia
- Gavin Gibbons, Senior Product Manager, Mobile Advertising,
Deutsche Telekom
- Lucie Chmarova, Advertising Services Manager, T-Mobile Czech Republic
Mobile Advertising (www.mobileadvertisingeurope.com) will bring together
mobile operators and MVNOs from across Europe to learn how to convince
advertising companies and brands to work with them. They will also learn how
to collaborate with advertisers to develop successful mobile advertising
campaigns that drive revenues for both the mobile operator and the
advertising companies.
Reg Cox, Director of Operations at the GSMA said, "A great opportunity to
get a valuable insight into the role operators will play in transforming the
mobile advertising landscape."
