Endeavour Promotes Cathy L. Stubbs to Senior Vice President of Finance

HOUSTON, September 28, 2010 - Endeavour International Corporation (Amex: END) (LSE: ENDV) today
announced that Cathy L. Stubbs has been promoted to senior vice president of
finance.

Stubbs has over 20 years of corporate financial experience. She has been

development, accounting and financial controls and treasury. Stubbs was with
Ocean Energy and its predecessor companies for seven years where she worked
in a number of financial management positions. She began her career with KPMG
International.
