ERCOM Opens an Office in Japan

PARIS - As a leading telco manufacturer focusing on telecommunications security and network quality, ERCOM announces the opening of a new office in Japan. The office was opened on June 15th, 2009.
Japanese market is one of the most advanced markets in new technologies. On june 10th 2009, the Japanese Ministry of Internal affairs and Communications released the allocation of LTE frequencies to the Japanese mobile operators. Consequently, the first LTE networks shall be launched in 2010 in Japan.
Regarding test and simulation, ERCOM develops and deploys its Mobipass product family for cellular networks. The LTE Mobipass base station tester is a highly advanced solution for telco manufacturers and mobiles operators. It enables them to pursue functional and load testing on their equipments and networks.
ERCOM has been represented in Japan since 2008 by its distributor, Rikei, which manages the commercial relationship in the country. The new office in Japan will focus on technical support. According to Didier Pagnoux, CEO of ERCOM: “Our Japanese customers will now benefit from a local team which will bring extensive technical skills to their needs and will assist them in the deployment of ERCOM’s solutions”.
Following its 12MEUR fund raising last April, ERCOM accelerates its international expansion to answer the growing needs of its overseas customers.
