LONDON - Award-winning ethnic communications agency, Rich Visions has announced it’s first dates in a series of educational/informative seminars and workshops helping businesses, central and local government, third sector, health and educational institutions as well as corporate companies across the UK to effectively reach, engage and build relationships with the UK’s ethnic communities.

The “Reaching the Unreachable Road show” will tour key cities across the UK starting with London (12th & 21st May) and Birmingham (10th June). Further dates and locations will be announced in June.

The 2001 Census states that there are 4.6 million ethnic minorities in the UK and ethnic communications and marketing strategies are one of the essential tools which appeal to the cultural nuances, traditions and norms of ethnic communities who are classed as a hard-to-reach group.

Mavis Amankwah, Managing Director of Rich Visions comments: “Although ethnic communities are concentrated in larger cities across the UK. Our research and the stories in the media suggest that many organisations and institutes have little understanding of how to reach this community.”

Amankwah continues: “The Reach the Unreachable Roadshow” intends to bring our extensive knowledge and experience to the doorstep of those that need it.”

The “Reaching the Unreachable Roadshow” workshops and seminars will provide Q & A sessions, role playing, community insights and will teach delegates how to develop winning campaigns and strategies. Attendees will also learn how to develop tactical strategies such as outreach and recruiting community ambassadors.

Mavis will also be joined at the seminars by other ethnic communications experts including Asif Yusuf (Diversitylink.co.uk) Murly Tiwari (Indoor Media) and Vadim Granovskiy, (Russian Angliya Newspaper).
