As a congress location, Hannover is able to offer its guests two convention centres to choose from: the modern Convention Center of Hannover Fair organisers Deutsche Messe at the heart of the Hannover Exhibition Grounds, and the classic Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC) close to the city centre and immediately adjacent to the City Park.

Thanks to such major events as the World Exposition EXPO 2000 or the FIFA World Cup 2006, Hannover’s reputation as a welcoming, cosmopolitan city has spread around the world, leading to a marked increase in the demand for event locations of the most varied kinds. Whether it is seminar rooms and lecture halls to accommodate up to 3,500 people, exhibition halls on the trade fair site, the TUI Arena for major events with up to 14,000 spectators, or the very exclusive settings offered by the Adventure Zoo, Marienburg Castle, or a former aircraft hangar, interested visitors have a choice between a whole range of possible venues for conferences and events.
