EDMONTON, October 12, 2010 - Global e-Training by Digital School has joined the ranks of major
companies by becoming a Silver Sponsor for the up-coming 2010 Autodesk
University conference and exhibition, the largest gathering of designers and
engineers worldwide who use Autodesk's 3D design software.
As a Silver Sponsor for Autodesk University 2010, Global e-Training by
Digital School is showing its commitment to further position itself as a
leader worldwide in certified Autodesk training. This level of sponsorship is
a first for Edmonton, Canada based Digital School, a forward looking company
with an influential and growing international presence.
Silver Sponsorship will enable Digital School to showcase its
revolutionary new Global e-Training system, GeT Interactive and GeT Live
Network. Digital School developed the program using 25 years of technical and
vocational training experience, along with a vast amount of e-learning
research.
GeT Interactive is a self-paced online Autodesk software training program
which lets students study on their own schedule, using visual, auditory and
hands-on learning methods. Milestone tracking along with competency based
progress ensures that students stay focused to complete their program.
GeT Live Network is a collaborative learning platform which brings
students and instructors together through the use of the Internet. It is a
virtual classroom interface which enables students and instructors to
interact with one another in real time. Instructors are brought into contact
with students from around the globe, increasing class sizes and reducing
overhead costs. It also allows the user to host and market live courses on
the network, making it a truly revolutionary training tool.
GeT combines the best learning and e-learning practices packing it into a
highly effective e-Training system, allowing students to fully engage and be
motivated throughout the entire learning process. It appeals to all learning
styles, and is suited to train in the technical discipline of Computer Aided
Design.
The GeT programs include interactive and engaging methodology for
increased retention of information, competency based progress to ensure
understating of topics and extreme cost effectiveness as courses are not
limited to class sizes or start dates. Without the travel and overhead costs
associated with classroom training, GeT courses are extremely cost-effective.
Autodesk University conference and exhibition is an annual event which
brings together Autodesk users from around the world, from executives,
developers, solution providers, strategic partners, to educational
institutions such as Digital School. It will be held in Las Vegas, at the
