Halftime at the Dublin Oktoberfest - More Than 25,000 Visitors so far
By The Dublin Oktoberfest, PRNEMonday, October 4, 2010
Only a few Tables can Still be Booked
DUBLIN, October 5, 2010 - Bavarian customs seem to be very welcome in Ireland - at half time of the
Dublin Oktoberfest more than 25,000 guests have already visited the pontoon
and the marquee in the George's Dock at the IFCS. During the last days at
around 7pm the admission to beer and sausage has had to be shut down
temporarily, seeing that long queues build up along the Custom House Quay.
Whoever wants to enjoy the "Mostlandstürmer" brass band by the 10th of
October and who wants to drink a traditional "Stein" (1 litre beer) should
turn up at the George's Dock by 5pm or book one of the few tables left.
Admission is free up to 22 h, thereafter visitors have to purchase a 5EUR
wristband at the entrance to the festival platform. This voucher includes a
substantial meal at the value of 10EUR.
Partners to the Dublin Oktoberfest are Erdinger and Radio Q102.
