ABU DHABI, UAE, September 27, 2010 - Following last year's success, Barbican Turbo; the regions
hottest custom car and bike show, returns with an array of exciting
competitions and prizes for custom car and bike fans. Barbican Turbo,
organised by United Business Media, takes place from the 7 - 9 October 2010
at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, Abu Dhabi;
www.barbicanturbo.com; and is expected to deliver more than 30000 fans
to this annual event.
For the 3rd consecutive year, the 'Best in Show' competition
returns to crown the best customised cars in the region. The categories this
year include "Best in Show", "Voter's Choice", "Best air-brush or body-kit"
and "Best on a budget". 53 prizes will be given out to the winners of each
category, including trophies, cash prizes, and vouchers and gaming consoles
supplied by Nitto, the Gold sponsor and Official Tyre Supplier for Barbican
Turbo 2010. Nitto is also holding their Nitto RC Car Championship during the
show.
The U.A.E. Power Championship returns this year with Mainline
Auto from Australia and RSG Garage to crown the car with the most powerful
engine. Last year's champion recorded 1011 brake horse power in their lime
green, twin turbo Lamborghini Gallardo and this year's winner be challenged
to beat this record. The UAE Power Championships will have 10 different
categories, with a trophy for the winner of each trophy.
Those with an ear for quality won't be left out as the 3rd UAE
Sound Off features some of the loudest and best installed car stereos and
in-car entertainment systems. The competition is run by Skematix, who will
also be advising car owners and visitors during the show on the best in
in-car entertainment systems and how to install them.

industry related business card. This year's Barbican Turbo will also feature
the Barbican Turbo roadshow at Jumeirah Beach Residence in Dubai Marina on
the 1st of October, the trade reception on the 7th of October, Team Orange
drifting demos and taxis, the debut of the Drift Queen, the Barbican stage
featuring dancers, DJ, cocktail flarers, graffiti and more, the City Ride and
more than double the number of exhibitors from 2009. Fans also have the
chance to win a fantastic trip to Thailand if they visit the Nitto stand at
the event.
