PRINCETON, New Jersey, September 20, 2010 - Informex (www.informex.com), the leading meeting place for buyers
and sellers of high-value chemistry for a broad range of applications, today
announced that for the first time in the event's 27 year history, InformexUSA
will feature an educational conference program, which will run alongside the
tradeshow in Charlotte on the mornings of Wednesday February 9th and Thursday
February 10th, 2011. The newly formed Informex Content Committee is currently
inviting interested parties to submit outline presentation proposals before
the deadline date of October 15th.
The conference sessions will run from 8-11 a.m. and will follow three
separate tracks: 'A broad view of the chemical industry,' 'Timely issues in
the pharma business' and 'The specialty chemical market.' It is envisaged
that a wide range of topics will be covered within these tracks, including
but not limited to: in-depth looks at specific markets, standards and
regulations, distribution trends, creating successful brands, innovations,
case studies, new technologies, supply chain developments and IP protection.
"Based on extensive visitor and exhibitor feedback, we felt the time was
right to introduce structured educational content at InformexUSA, providing a
further forum for industry executives to gather and exchange valuable
information," commented UBM Live's Informex Brand Manager, Jennifer Jessup.
"The sessions will be free to attend for all registrants and exhibitors and
will be totally objective, focusing on key industry trends and topics. We are
particularly keen to make the presentations as audience-friendly and
interactive as possible."
Potential speakers are invited to submit a short description of their
proposed topic, a brief biography and full contact information to Caitlin
Devlin at cdevlin@informex.com.
With more than 70% of exhibitor space already booked and an exciting
line-up of new networking and educational opportunities, the 2011 event is
gaining momentum as the most anticipated in the 27 year history of Informex.
With 365 exhibitors from 19 countries confirmed, the new Charlotte, NC venue
is proving extremely popular as InformexUSA looks to build on its reputation
