ISDEF’2009 - Software Developers to Gather in Moscow this Fall

MOSCOW - The Independent Software Developers Forum (ISDEF) is Organizing and Hosting ISDEF’2009, Their 8th Fall Conference. The Event Will Take Place on October 1-4, 2009 in Moscow, Russia.

This year’s conference will be devoted to the analysis of the international software market and general problems that IT companies face on a regular basis. The situation will be analyzed by several experts specializing in market trends both in Russia and outside the country. The crisis has changed the IT business and has made a lot of companies revise their plans. All this has made direct communication between market players especially important, as it enables them to identify the optimal ways of keeping their businesses profitable and making them grow and diversify.

ISDEF’09 is primarily intended for owners, top managers and leading experts of IT and Internet companies, representatives of Russian and international investment funds, marketing/PR specialists and journalists.

The main topics to be covered by ISDEF’09 focus on:

- Marketing and software sales techniques. - Legal aspects of the operation of software companies. - Investments on the IT market. - Human resource management and staffing. - The role of PR departments in the work of IT companies. - Business development and related questions.

These sections will be attended both by world-famous IT vendors and growing companies seeking knowledge and experience.

This year, the conference will feature an investment section for the second time in a row. Last year’s event generated great interest in this meeting, both from investors and software developers. The section will consist of “theoretical” and a “practical” parts. The theoretical part will give its participants an opportunity to discuss various investment-related questions and identify potential “stumbling stones” of the IT business. Some of last year’s participants will share success stories with this year’s audience. They managed to convince investors and secured substantial funding for their projects. The second part of the section will be devoted to individual negotiations with investors.
