Great Place to Work(R) Institute Recognises Ketchum Pleon London

LONDON, May 20, 2010 - Great Place to Work(R) Institute UK named leading global public relations
agency Ketchum Pleon to its annual "Best Workplaces" list. The rankings,
which were released today to readers of the Financial Times and Guardian and
unveiled at a ceremony held yesterday evening at the Grosvenor House Hotel,
places Ketchum Pleon at No. 11 in the list of the top 50 places to work in
the nation, making it the consultancy's fifth appearance on the list. Ketchum
Pleon
was also shortlisted in the top five for three special awards:
Workplace Health & Wellbeing, Learning & Leadership for Sustainability and
Corporate Responsibility (CR), making it one of the most shortlisted
businesses at the awards, and ultimate winner of the CR Excellence Award for
"making a major contribution to society" and providing "great pro bono work
opportunities" for its employees.

"The culture here at our London office has always been creative, fun and
collaborative. Since welcoming new colleagues last July as part of our recent
merger with Pleon, we found the culture of both offices to be complementary,
and we've all benefited from the integration," said David Gallagher, senior
partner and president of Ketchum Pleon in Europe, and CEO of Ketchum Pleon
London
. "We're proud to once again accept this recognition from the Great
Place to Work Institute, and I thank all of my colleagues for making me want
to come in to work each day."

Making the Honour Roll for Social Responsibility, Sustainability &
Wellbeing Excellence

Ketchum Pleon London made the shortlist for awards in three of the
institute's subcategories:

    - Learning & Leadership for Sustainability Excellence Award, which
focuses on organizations that are helping their employees and senior
leadership to understand and respond to strategic socio-environmental
      challenges;

    - Workplace Wellbeing Excellence Award, which recognises organisations
that demonstrate a genuine sense of caring for their employees' health
      and well-being; and

    - Corporate Responsibility Excellence Award, for which Ketchum Pleon was
      the overall winner.

According to the Great Place to Work(R) Institute UK judges' citation,
"Ketchum Pleon stands out as a firm making a major contribution to society;
it has moved from commissioning pilot social and environmental projects to
aligning corporate responsibility to its core business strategy. Crucially,
each employee is assessed in their performance appraisal on how they consider
the company's values."

The top five drivers of Ketchum Pleon's commitment to being a great
workplace, as identified in the agency's nomination, are corporate social
responsibility, customer service, morale, reputation and retention, which
includes the firm's renowned commitment to career development. Other policies
that contribute to Ketchum's designation as a great employer include its
employee-developed environmental policy, an open-door policy for pet visits,
and a pro-bono partnership to promote global literacy with Room to Read.

In an effort to reduce strain on the environment and keep employees'
minds and bodies in top shape, Ketchum Pleon London introduced the Ride to
Work Scheme, where employees make tax-free payments on an agency-purchased
bicycle. Colleagues have the option to participate in numerous
extra-curricular activities like the office-wide netball team or swimming
club, and the office is also equipped with basketball, table tennis and table
football on site.

The methodology for the U.K. Best Workplaces rankings is based on an
evaluation from an employee "Trust Index" survey, and a "Culture Audit"
management survey. Employees are asked to evaluate their company's
performance based on five key areas: credibility, respect, fairness, pride
and camaraderie.

Since 2003, the Great Place to Work Institute Europe has worked with
leading European media publications - such as The Financial Times, El Pais,
Berlingske Tidendes Nyheds-magasin and Capital - to publish annual national
lists of best workplaces and the annual List of Best Workplaces in Europe.
More than 1,350 European companies representing 1.1 million employees
participated in the 2010 study.

In April, public relations industry trade publication The Holmes Report
named Ketchum Large PR Agency of the Year, citing its merger with Pleon as a
major expansion to the agency's international footprint in "a move that
almost certainly elevated Ketchum into the top four firms in the world."
