Knowledge Exchange and Chinese Business Development Forum

British Institute of Technology & E-commerce (B|I|T|E) is building further on its hugely successful World Hi-Tech forum.   This programme launched in 2008 has now delivered country specific knowledge exchange and business development forum to well over 1000 “C” level executives and government ministers and advisers.

China World Hi-tech Forum 2009 focused on China and B|I|T|E has been welcoming delegations from China since that time to discuss prospective business opportunities to partner with and facilitate between the UK and China markets.  Most recently B|I|T|E welcomed a delegation from the Academy of Equipment Command and Technology looking at procurement systems opportunities and from Hebei province provincial government seeking to share knowledge and business development opportunities in Information systems security management software and hardware solutions.

B|I|T|E is very pleased to announce that it will welcome a delegation of over 20 senior Chinese government, academicians and businessmen on the 31st August to discuss:

  1. Current E-commerce systems in the UK
  2. Briefing about current IT technologies / information industry developments & challenges
  3. Advanced IT technologies for cost control & resources optimization for modern industries
  4. Intelligent & interactive systems technologies for commercial / new industrial sectors  

This type expertise lies at the heart of the B|I|T|E knowledge base and we are pleased that  this has been recognised in China through the many representatives we have received with a desire to work in partnership with us.

The next World Hi-Tech Forum 2012 will be focused on Turkey.  

The British Institute of Technology and E-commerce is a catalyst organisation bringing together business and education.

The British Institute of Technology & E-commerce (B|I|T|E) in collaboration with UK University partners and in association with industry offers a wide range of courses. These courses have been developed in consultation with business and government sectors to address the gap between industry and higher education.  Courses include Masters degrees, covering MBA, LLM, MA and MSc qualifications.  At undergraduate level, we offer courses with particular focus on business and technology.

We offer professional qualifications validated by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Our leadership and customised upskilling programmes support corporate and government departments to enhance performance and understanding. We offer vocational assessment (NVQ) for managers, supervisors, customer service and hospitality personals.

BITE is also a British Council accredited test centre for The International English Language Testing System (IELTS).  The IELTS test is available in two modules at BITE - Academic and General Training. The Academic Module is used by candidates for admission to undergraduate or postgraduate courses and for registration with professional bodies. The General Training Module emphasises basic survival skills in a broad social and educational context.

BITE is a private higher education organisation providing post-graduate education to around 4,000 international students every year.   Founded in 2000 it has grown steady and now has three campus, one in East London, one in West-End London and an executive retreat in Suffolk based in an estate of some 200 acres.
