IntraLinks recognized as the leader in team collaboration market for fifth straight year

NEW YORK, May 16, 2011 - IntraLinks (NYSE: IL), a leading provider of critical information
exchange solutions, today announced that it has been ranked the number one
vendor in the team collaboration software market* in 2010 by Gartner Inc. It
marks the fifth consecutive year that Gartner has recognized IntraLinks as
the leader in the team collaboration market.

Gartner based its ranking on its own analysis of vendors as well as
vendors' reported revenues. The results were published in Gartner's recent
worldwide market share analysis reports on team collaboration and
Web-conferencing software, and all software markets.

Notable results from the reports include:

-- IntraLinks had a 23.8 percent market share in 2010, an 11 percent
       year-over-year increase
-- IntraLinks' global growth in absolute terms, $43.6M, represented an
increase of more than 30 percent year-over-year
-- The overall team collaboration software market grew 17 percent in 2010
to $774 million, indicating that IntraLinks' global growth rate was
almost twice that of the overall market

"Since 2008, the continuing convergence of team collaboration and
enterprise social software drove new revenue opportunities as suites/platform
offerings became more prominent," writes Tom Eid, research vice president,
Gartner. "Teaming software vendors are providing more vertical market-aligned
and line-of-business-focused capabilities."

"We believe the Gartner report provides convincing evidence of our
leadership in the growing marketplace of cloud-based solutions for team
collaboration," said Greg Kenepp, chief marketing officer, IntraLinks.
"IntraLinks established its strong market position because our solutions are
built for outside the firewall exchange of sensitive and critical information
that securely accelerate business processes."

Gartner started looking at these specific markets because the continuing
convergence of team collaboration and enterprise social software is driving
new revenue opportunities as platform offerings became more prominent. The
