LONDON - M.A.C Cosmetics, globally the professional artist’s brand of choice for fashion, film, TV, theatre, music and photography rolled out the red carpet last night to glamorise nominees, presenters and actresses for the British Academy Television Awards in 2009.
M.A.C was proud to be the Official Make-Up Brand for the glittering occasion this year, having provided make-up support for over 15 of the nominated TV productions including Mad Men, X Factor, EastEnders, Skins, Doctor Who, Shameless, Outnumbered, Spooks, The Devil’s Whore, The Bill, Casualty, Emmerdale, Friday/Sunday Night Project, Harry Hill’s TV Burp and The Inbetweeners.
Make-up artists from the M.A.C Pro Team were on hand to provide make-up services to VIP’s in town for the Awards. M.A.C Pro Artists offered their magic touch to talent throughout the weekend in the M.A.C Beauty Suite at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hyde Park - Official Hotel to the awards - and via one to one ‘at home’ appointments.
M.A.C Pro Artists created dazzling looks for the O.C’s Mischa Barton, TV presenter Tess Daly, actress Hannah Murray from the Award winning Skins, actress Jamie Winston from the nominated Drama Serial Dead Set, Best Actress Nominee, Maxine Peake, citation reader Sarah Alexander, EastEnders star Patsy Palmer and Loose Woman, Andrea McLean. M.A.C certainly created a bevy of glamorous flashbulb worthy looks at this year’s Awards!
All celebrities who received the M.A.C experience were left with a ‘touch-up kit’ to maintain their stunning red carpet look including two key M.A.C products, M.A.C Blot Powder/Pressed and M.A.C Lipglass. M.A.C artists were also at the ready backstage and front of house throughout the star studded Awards ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall for ‘on the spot, on the night’ touch-ups. Stars Dame Helen Mirren, Davina Macall, Patsy Kensit and David Tennant enjoyed this service before going on stage.
M.A.C also hosted a-list guests including TV presenter Alexa Chung, Alexa’s co-presenter and Fashion Designer, Henry Holland and actress Mischa Barton at this year’s British Academy Television Awards.
