LUXEMBOURG - MACH, the leading provider of hub-based mobile communications exchange solutions, today announced the launch of its Optimised Business Solutions (OBS) suite. The new OBS suite combines existing business intelligence tools with a number of new products and creates one set of solutions to optimise mobile operator roaming revenues.
The emergence of new technologies, partners and markets has greatly increased the revenue opportunities available to mobile operators. However, unrealised opportunities and revenue leakage are often masked by market complexity, partner diversity and opaque transactions flows. In order to optimise roaming revenues, operators require tools and advisory services that capture and analyse transactional data on a timely basis and present strategies to realise and protect revenue streams.
MACH’s OBS suite offers solutions at each stage of the value chain, from service creation to delivery to settlement. MACH business advisory services and diagnostic tools identify revenue ‘white spaces’ to highlight coverage gaps, delivering an operator-specific program of new partners, destinations and services to realise untapped revenue opportunities.
MACH’s Optimal Call Handler (OCH) tool optimises interconnect revenues, while the new MACH Cognitive Roaming Optimization System (CROS) ‘learns’ from the network and from customer behavior to optimize wholesale business, steering of roaming and IMSI segmentation programs. MACH’s new Retail Optimizer and Business Optimizer tools enable operators to optimise traffic and tariffs. These new applications complement the MACH SMART data warehouse and MACH Dashboards to integrate and present data from across the business and deliver rich content, flexible analysis and ease of use.
Finally, MACH’s Multilateral Settlement Pool and IOT Discount Calculation and Settlement tools protect revenues and ensure that every CDR is converted to cash. All of MACH’s solutions incorporate the experience and expertise of MACH’s industry analysts.
MACH’s combination of industry-leading applications and expert analyst advisory services is unique in the industry, and ensures that real-life knowledge and expertise is applied to real-time data to provide real business intelligence.
“The OBS suite has been designed to optimise destinations, services, traffic and tariffs, ensuring that operators achieve the highest possible return from roaming initiatives,” said Lodewijk Cornelis, MACH CMO. “By increasing coverage, optimising retail and wholesale pricing, and eliminating settlement leakage, operators can be more competitive and better able to respond to uncontrollable revenue losses arising from regulation or changes in the political or technological landscape.”
More than 100 mobile operators are currently running roaming business pilot programs on MACH business intelligence solutions.
