CHANDLER, Arizona -

MESA International, the Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association, is announcing the program and open registration for its European Plant-to-Enterprise Conference, October 27-28, 2009, held at Jaarbeurs, Utrecht, The Netherlands.

Continuing on the success of previous European conferences, this year’s MESA European Plant-to-Enterprise Conference will focus on the theme, Survive to Thrive, and how companies on either end of the spectrum need to think, act, and engage in today’s and tomorrow’s global economic realities.

The 2009 conference agenda provides a rich selection of first hand end-user experience, shared best practices, expert information and educational opportunities, to ensure maximum value added content for attending manufacturers/producers. “Especially now, many manufacturers and producers are looking for best practices and tools to help them be ready for the recovery of the economy, whenever that may come. This conference is an ideal place to learn from your peers,” says Jan Snoeij of Logica, Chair of MESA EMEA. The Conference agenda includes presenters from Sasol, Solvay Pharmaceuticals, SC Johnson Europlant, Eli Lilly, Royal DSM and more. They will be sharing their first hand experience in applying MES and how information technology is used. Additional analysts and experts will share information about trends in MES and how to achieve operational excellence.

For the first time sessions in collaboration with the WBF, The Organization for Production Technology will be offered adding manufacturer/producer experience in process industries and information on ISA-88, B2MML standards and education on MES standards, selection and implementation.

The conference will be accompanied by an exhibition space where MES vendors and service providers will share information about their offerings.

With this extended offering, the 2009 European Plant-to-Enterprise Conference will bring practical and pragmatic value for attendees involved with initial MES strategies. In addition, information for experienced MES users looking for inspiration and innovation in extending the scope of their existing MES capabilities and the possible positive impact to the bottom line results of their businesses will be presented.

More detailed and constant updated information about the conference and on-line registration is available at www.mesa.org/conference/2009/eu.
