LONDON, January 25, 2011 - An interesting statistic: more than half (55%) of hair loss sufferers
would be more inclined to consider having a hair transplant if celebrities or
public figures were more open about hair restoration surgery, and men are
more likely to be influenced than women (57% vs. 45%).

Over the last couple of years many male celebs have openly admitted to
hair restoration, including Kevin Costner, Mel Gibson, John Travolta, Brendan
Fraser
, Jude Law and Nicholas Cage. Even Ryan Gigs now admits to a hair
restoration therapy, although he is not the only sports icon to undergo hair
loss treatment (www.advancedhair.co.uk/). Cricket legends Shane Warne,
Michael Vaughan, Graham Gooch, Greg Matthews and Saurav Ganguly, and English
Rugby international Austin Healey are all ambassadors for the Advanced Hair
Studio - one of the world's largest hair restoration companies.

The truth of the matter is that a majority of men will lose their hair:
40% of men have noticeable hair loss by age 35, 65% by age 60, and 80% by age
80. The point: hair loss is nothing to be embarrassed about. If celebs are
candid about their hair loss then regular folk shouldn't feel ashamed.
Especially because baldness (www.advancedhair.co.uk/)can be remedied.

Baldness and thinning hair can be treated by a variety of options
including, Strand-By-Strand (
www.advancedhair.co.uk/ladiesstrandByStrand.asp) hair restoration,
which is a patented procedure that replaces hair, without pain or scarring;
Advanced Laser Therapy, which regrows hair with a combination of the latest
laser beam technology, an FDA approved regrowth pharmaceutical and a proven
scalp and follicle treatment program; Hair Extensions - also known as
Flashpoints - which is a hair extension procedure using no glues, no waxes
and no weaving. The method will not damage existing hair and Flashpoints hair
extensions are also reusable.

Actors rely on their looks to sell their talent and so it can be argued
that hair restoration is an essential career move for celebs. Irrespective,
we all like to look good and a full head of hair can do wonders for
confidence and self-esteem. If celebs are getting real about hair loss, why
shouldn't we?
