"Northrop Grumman has a strong presence and a wide range of capabilities
in the UK which are well matched to meeting the security and resilience needs
in international markets," said Sir Nigel Essenhigh, chairman of Northrop
Grumman UK and chief executive of Northrop Grumman Information Systems
Europe. "Overseas trade is an important component of our UK business and
nearly 70 percent of our annual sales are into exports markets around the
world."

The visit included demonstrations of Northrop Grumman's civil defence and
security export solutions for command and control, situational awareness,
border security and coastal surveillance.

Northrop Grumman's Critical Incident Response System (CIRS) was shown
together with the large-screen collaborative environment, TouchTable, to
demonstrate the ability to integrate a variety of national security
applications into a common situational awareness display for use in crisis
management operations.

The company's Integrated Tactical Command and Control Services (I-TaCCS)
and Integrated Joint Operational Command and Control Services (I-JOCCS)
tactical command and control systems were also demonstrated. I-TaCCS, when
combined with I-JOCCS, creates an operational and tactical level static and
mobile headquarters C4I solution to deliver a command, control, surveillance
and intelligence capability. The core software component of I-TaCCS is widely
used around the world and is in service in more than 40 countries with
100,000 users.

Northrop Grumman's UK cyber test range will be used for emulating large,
complex networks and for conducting cyber experiments and assessments of
infrastructure survivability and assurance within a safe and controlled
experimental environment to evaluate their resilience to cyber attacks. The
UK cyber range has been designed to be federated with other cyber ranges
anywhere in the world to create the capability for large-scale experiments to
be carried out beyond the scope of a single facility.
