ONDAS Media Sets up French Operations With Key Senior Appointments

MADRID - ONDAS Media S.A., the satellite radio company for Europe, has today announced the appointment of Benoit Chereau as Senior VP of Business Development and Alain Kervizic as Director of Content for Automotive Services for ONDAS Media’s new operational base in Paris.
“As former CEO of Worldspace Europe, Chereau has a deep understanding and passion for the massive potential that is European satellite radio,” confirms Dave Krueger, CEO of ONDAS Media. “His extensive previous experience in managing subscriber services at Bouygues Telecom combined with the valuable lessons learned at Worldspace Europe will be critical to ONDAS as we further develop our content offering, manage customer relations and work within the regulatory frameworks in France and the rest of Europe moving forward.”
Prior to joining Worldspace in 2005, Chereau, was Deputy CEO Technology & Information Systems at Canal + Group and before that Deputy CEO Marketing, Sales & Customer Service Bouygues Telecom. He has also worked at Schlumberger and Ford France. He is a graduate engineer of Ecole Polytechnique and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. As Senior VP of Business Development at ONDAS Media Chereau will now take responsibility for various business services and relationship development at the company.

Kervizic joins ONDAS Media from the TomTom Group. He has extensive experience in the data information and automotive sector and has previously worked for organisations including: Tele Atlas France, ExxonMobil, Mobil Oil Francaise and Bosch Siemens.
Through a fully integrated, digital satellite transmission network, ONDAS will broadcast its multi-lingual radio, music, video and data services directly to European consumers in their automobiles, trucks, homes, offices and to their mobile and portable devices.
