One Week Remains for Media Accreditation for the International Olympic Committee’s Evaluation Commission Visit

CHICAGO - Media applying for accreditation to cover the International Olympic
Committee (IOC) Evaluation Commission Visit in Chicago, April 2-8 have one
week to submit their accreditation application. The accreditation period will
close on Monday, March 23. Media traveling to Chicago and staying at the
Sheraton have until Friday, March 20 to reserve a room at the media hotel.

The Evaluation Commission will meet with Chicago 2016 to discuss the
Candidature File and will conduct site visits of the proposed venues. As part
of this important milestone in the bidding process, Chicago 2016 will also
welcome national and international journalists to Chicago to share Chicago
2016’s plan for the Games.

All members of the media require official accreditation by Chicago 2016
for the Evaluation Commission visit. Please note all accreditations are
subject to approval by Chicago 2016.
