LONDON, April 29, 2010 - French beauty brand, L'Occitane, who have over 43 stores in the UK, are
bringing a patch of Provence to the Chelsea Flower Show with 'The L'Occitane
Garden', opened to the public 25th - 29th May 2010

Inspired by the magic of Provence, the garden will be filled with scents,
colours and textures synonymous with the south of France and will feature
unique Peony plants from the Drome region - Peony is also the Royal
Horticultural Society's signature flower for Chelsea this year.

Chelsea veteran-contractor, Peter Dowle and Garden Designer, James
Towillis, both from Gloucester will work with L'Occitane to recreate a
typical Provencal landscape with structurally appealing Olive and Almond
trees punctuating the rocky backdrop with varieties of Lavender, Verbena, and
Juniper indigenous to the south of France and the Mediterranean.

James Towillis, Garden Designer for L'Occitane, spent weeks scouting
around the area of Haute Provence looking for inspiration and props for the
garden at Chelsea. His journey around the area witnessing the blossoming of
the lavender and almond trees and his scavenge for reclaimed props such as
roof tiles, door frames and gardening tools has been filmed by the BBC and
will feature on BBC1 as part of the Chelsea Flower Show coverage in May.

"The Peony is definitely going to take centre stage this year. It comes
in a dazzling array of colours and scents, with gorgeous foliage that lasts
throughout the year. In a normal garden I like to use peony in repetition in
a border, and it goes well with spiky leaves such as the flowers of the
Iris." James Towillis, Garden Designer for The L'Occitane Garden

Peter Dowle and his team have received 7 Gold Medals for Construction and
Plantmanship and 3 BBC People's Awards and has recently completed a series of
garden makeovers for ITV's 'Help I Hate My Garden' on 'This Morning'.

Peter Dowle's company Plants and Gardens is 1 of only 3 landscaping
companies recommended by the Royal Horticultural Society
