Punch Partnerships and ThirdForce Develop New e-Learning Training Offer

LONDON - ThirdForce (www.thirdforce.com/) is delighted to partner with Punch Partnerships to launch a new e-learning training initiative that is unique in the Tenanted/leased pub Industry.
Punch is working with ThirdForce to enable their partners across their leased estate to access the same Food and Health and Safety training that has delivered so much success to Punch’s managed division. The accredited e-learning courses offer Punch Partners access to a flexible, cost effective way to provide Health & Safety and Food Hygiene training to their whole team.
David Mayes, Head of Retail Training for Punch Taverns says “Launching the opportunity to complete compliance training via e-learning is part of our drive to increase the level of support we offer to help increase, not only the skills of our partners, but also those of their pub teams. If this initial offer is successful, we will look at offering a wider range of training via e-learning”.
Punch and ThirdForce are launching this initiative at the 11 venue Punch Taverns Roadshow events, taking place nationwide throughout October and November, with a compelling Buy one Get One Free offer for Punch partners who register before December 2009. By working closely with ThirdForce and giving partners access to the e-learning directly via the Punch Taverns website (www.punchtaverns.com/Punch), they are offering their leased estate a huge value added opportunity. On successful completion of the training, participating pubs will automatically receive a printed certificate with Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC) approval logo to give tenants the confidence that the e-learning training will stand up to the rigours of inspection by EHO’s and HSE inspectors.
Janet Garcia, Sales Director for ThirdForce says “In these challenging times, ThirdForce are delighted to aid those pub partners who need to train themselves and their people cost effectively. Our experience within the hospitality sector has shown us that our e-learning solution really works, so we are excited to partner with Punch and extend our reach within this sector.”
