David Miller to Drive Samvo's Marketing and Communications Plans for its Soon to be Launched Innovative Gaming and Entertainment Platform
LONDON, November 1, 2010 - Samvo, the pioneering young online gamingcompany has hired a senior
marketing executive as the company looks to rebrand and launch a major new
gaming, entertainment and leisure experience in 2011.
Samvo's plans for a major online launch will be supported by opening an
innovative new concept in betting shops that will offer customers a chance to
experience the brand in a very real way. In preparation for the launch and
its plans to provide a fresh offering to the sector, Samvo has taken the bold
move of hiring a marketing executive from outside of the egaming industry.
Whilst Samvo has been synonymous with the Asian Handicap football market,
David Miller's hire is part of a compelling new strategy to raise the profile
of Samvo and its products across Europe and Asia.
Veteran videogames marketer David Miller has joined Samvo as Senior
Marketing Manager to oversee the launch, which will include a rebrand of the
Samvo group and its affiliated businesses and help take the Samvo brand to
new places. Miller comes to the company with 15 years' experience at blue
chip games companies including Virgin, Namco Bandai and Electronic Arts. His
primary brief will be to establish the brand and drive customer acquisition
to the new portal and retail units; while in the longer term, increase the
visibility of the group and its key sister operation SamvoBetBroker
(samvobetbroker.com), a service that is rapidly becoming one of the largest
betting brokers in the world.
