Semplice Energy Wins Green Apple Award

READING, England, November 18 - Semplice Energy Limited, leading CleanTech energy solutions
provider, part of British Gas Business, a Centrica company, has been awarded
the Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice within the
'Pollution/Emissions Reduction' category.

The award recognised Semplice Energy Eco|Solutions for their
commercially viable energy savings and clean energy generation. Eco|Solutions
look at the total cost of ownership of the clean energy solution rather than
just the purchase cost to help the customer understand the true value of
their investment. Although each technology enjoys its own benefits, Semplice
seek to offer a balanced solution of complementary technologies that are both
kind to the customer's pocket and the environment. Customers such as Thatcham
Research Centre, McDonalds and Mothercare have benefited from this holistic
approach with both carbon and fiscal savings.

Energy, on the 17th November, at the House of Commons, alongside the other
successful entrants. Having attracted over 500 nominations, the Green Apple
Awards are now in their sixteenth year and are organised by The Green
Organisation - an independent, not-for-profit environmental group.
