- World's First Photo Search Engine Matches Personal Interests with
Real-Time Relevant Pictures

Skylines (www.skylin.es), the world's first real-time photo search
engine that matches the personal interests of users with real-time, relevant
pictures, launched today at the prestigious TechCrunch Disrupt conference in
New York City. Skylines (skylin.es/) was selected from over 500
applicants to launch on-stage in front of over 1500 venture capitalists,
journalists, industry influencers, technology innovators and enthusiasts.

"What Google(TM) is to website search; Skylines is to real-time photo
search," said Martijn Pannevis, CEO of Skylines. "There are currently over
1.5 million public pictures shared every day via the Internet in hundreds of
ways. Skylines is the only place where people can easily find photos captured
in real-time based on their own personal interests and likes, and share them
with the world."

Skylines features search functionality that focuses on the interest graph
rather than the social graph. Interests can be someone, something or
somewhere, and are mined using Facebook Likes, Twitter (hashtags and saved
searches), or are created manually. Skylines searches and filters a variety
of photo services in real-time including yFrog, Instagram, Twitpic and
Mobypicture, and instantly delivers results that are relevant to each user's
interests. The end result is that everyone can see his or her own personal
"skyline", and share his or her pictures via Facebook, Twitter or email.

Skylines also announced today the simultaneous release of their new
mobile applications, Skylines for iPhone and iPod Touch
(itunes.apple.com/us/app/skylines/id422764164?mt=8), and Skylines for
Android (https://market.android.com/details?id=net.skylines.android), and the
launch of a backchannel (skylin.es/backchannel/) that opened today
specifically for the TechCrunch Disrupt NYC 2011 conference (hashtag:
#tcdisrupt). The Skylines mobile applications and backchannel were developed
using Skylines' own API which the company plans to release to the developer
community soon. Advance registration for notification of the Skylines API
(skylin.es/api/) starts today at TechCrunch Disrupt NYC.
