SoBe Entertainment and The Orchard Signed International Music Distribution Agreement

SoBe Entertainment and The Orchard have signed an International Music Distribution agreement. The agreement will allow The Orchard to digitally distribute SoBe Recording Artist’s music internationally: Brooke Hogan, Jah Cure, Urban Mystic, Stack$ and newly signed Phyllisia.

On September 29, 2009, Brooke Hogan released her sophomore album The Redemption on SoBe Entertainment, in UK/Europe, Australia and Japan. The 21-year-old singer-songwriter co-wrote all but two songs on the captivating new album. The Redemption is a pop wonderland with up-beat, sexy dance rhythms and hip-hop influences, all overlaid with Brooke’s signature voice. In this album Brooke playfully explores tabloid madness and the exposure of a celebrity existence saying, “It’s about my image and it’s my life story as it’s unfolding.” Her first single from the album, Falling, enjoyed a successful run on the Billboard Top 40 and Rhythmic Top 40 Charts and features label mate Stack$. The album also features cameos from two Grammy nominated recording artists: Kon Live Distribution/Interscope recording artist Colby O’Donis (Akon, Lady Gaga) and Poe Boy/Atlantic recording superstar Flo Rida. Brooke is definitely at her best. Through this album, she hopes, “they [fans] will get to know the real me.”

Jah Cure will be releasing his fifth album The Universal Cure on DangerZone Music Group/SoBe Entertainment in Europe and Asia on November 10th. This will be his first recorded album since his release from prison. The two singles released from this album Mr. Jailer and follow up single Call On Me, both featuring label mate, R&B artist Phyllisia, have had a successful run on the charts. Call On Me spent 8 consecutive weeks at No.1 on the Jamaican Reggae Charts. The Call On Me video will be released internationally in early December 2009. The Universal Cure album includes collaborations with various artists crossing the Reggae, Hip Hop, Latin and R&B genres. Jah Cure is currently touring Europe.
