The China Sourcing Fair features manufacturers of consumer electronics,
fashion accessories, gifts and premiums, home products, baby and children's
products, and hardware and building materials.
The India Sourcing Fair expands this year under the "Made in India" theme
to bring to Dubai an expanded array of some of India's most competitive
exporters of home products and handicrafts, gifts and premiums, fashion
accessories, and garments and textiles. The Made in India — India Sourcing
Fair is supported by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO).
Both events are exclusively for importers, traders, and other volume
buyers who purchase consumer products for resale to markets throughout the
Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. More than 10,680 qualified buyers
from 102 countries and regions attended last year's events.
"The growth of the China Sourcing Fair over the years in Dubai reflects
the expanding demand for China-made products throughout the Middle East,"
said Helal Almarri, CEO of the Dubai World Trade Centre. "With the expansion
of the India Sourcing Fair to include a wider selection of Indian exporters,
it is clear that these events are both filling a need in the marketplace
among the region's importers, and helping to facilitate trade between the
Middle East and Asia's experienced exporters."
