MT. LAUREL, New Jersey - Company partners with Horner International and Alarmcorp to deliver award-winning Networked Video Recorders (NVRs) with Video Lifecycle Management technology
TimeSight Systems(TM), the industry leader in Video Lifecycle Management (VLM), today announced partnerships with two international security consultants, Horner International of the United Kingdom (U.K.) and Alarmcorp Pty Ltd. of Australia. Under the terms of the agreements, Horner and Alarmcorp will resell and support TimeSight Systems’ award-winning intelligent networked video recorders (NVRs) in their respective markets to end user security clients and original equipment manufacturers seeking solutions to rising storage costs associated with escalating camera counts, increasing resolution, and longer retention requirements of video surveillance data.
Horner International, based in the U.K., is a specialist consultancy that provides both management and system design services to a global security marketplace including some of the world’s leading security manufacturers. Alarmcorp, based in Australia, is an expert in security products and systems that combines innovative and dependable technology with the highest levels of technical proficiency and client relationship management.
“Horner International and Alarmcorp are welcome additions to our global reseller program,” said Charles Foley, chairman and CEO, TimeSight Systems. “Both companies are recognized leaders in their markets offering best-in-class service and solutions. We’re delighted that their customers will now be able to benefit from our VLM technology that makes high-resolution video surveillance an effective and affordable security tool.”
TimeSight System solutions dramatically improve the quality and quantity of valuable video data without sacrificing retention or being forced to store only motion-oriented events, which can leave security gaps. The use of VLM technology makes it possible to continually reduce the size of stored video over time, saving up to 90 percent of the storage normally required. With the addition of TimeSight Systems’ Motion Optimized Recording (MORe) capabilities, further intelligence is applied to allow the capture and storage of all video by storing the ‘non-motion’ video at highly compressed footprints and much lower frame rates than motion-oriented video, resulting in massive storage savings while providing 100 percent video coverage versus other ‘record on motion’ techniques which completely ignore these periods and leave gaps in security visibility.
“We pride ourselves on providing our customers with early-adopter insight and best-in-class solutions,” said Stephen Horner, director and principle consultant, Horner International. “Our focus on creating complete integration projects that utilize industry-leading, innovative technologies led us to add the TimeSight Systems VLM solutions to our recommended products list.”
“Our perspective on effective security management has evolved from many years of successful achievements with some of the world’s leading organizations,” said Joe McCann, chief executive officer, Alarmcorp. “By aligning ourselves with a technology leader such as TimeSight Systems and matching their products with our customer base, we can save our customers time and money.”
