Becomes No 1 UK ad platform after just 10 months in market
Videology, the UK’s leading video advertising solutions platform, announced today that Rhys McLachlan has been appointed to the newly created position of Commercial Development Director, reporting into Ryan Jamboretz, Managing Director EMEA and Global Chief Development Officer.
Rhys, based in London, will lead client services and help agencies and their clients manage the expansion of video advertising from PC to mobile, tablet and other devices. He will also help lead the platform’s expansion across Europe.
This planned expansion programme will augment the company’s impressive growth record. Since launching in the UK in January 2011, Videology has grown to become the highest-reaching in-stream video ad platform in the country. (Comscore, Sept 2011.)

McLachlan comes to Videology after an eight-year tenure at MediaCom, where he was Managing Partner, Futures & Implementation. During his time at MediaCom, he has been instrumental in the activation of their market leading approach to VOD and several industry firsts, including web-connected TV opportunities and the implementation of the UK’s first addressable IPTV solution.
