VANCOUVER, February 12 - People around the world can contribute to and participate in an
unprecedented event in Olympic history with just with the tips of their
fingers.

The Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) in collaboration with the Vancouver
2010 Cultural Olympiad and its digital edition (CODE) is inviting everyone
watching, listening, or reading about their favourite athletes or sports to
receive a unique digital memento that will be sent out "in the moment" while
billions of eyes are focused on the pageantry of the Opening Ceremony.

To be part of this extraordinary event, all people need to do is head to
Code at vancouver2010.com now to access the invite. On February 12
during the Opening Ceremony, an official Olympic souvenir will be delivered
digitally to those that have signed up for the experience as well as a coveted
digital ticket to a global social media event that will give participants the
opportunity to be a virtual participant at the Closing Ceremony.
