Currys and PC World Unveil 2-in-1 Megastore in Poole

45 New Jobs Created for Local Area

LONDON, July 20, 2010 - Currys and PC World, the UKs leading electrical retailers, opened the
doors to a brand new joint store in Poole on Thursday 8th July. The 2-in-1
Megastore has created 45 new jobs in the local area and offers Poole
residents a great new electrical shopping destination.

The new store provides the best of both brands under one roof, making
shopping for electricals a much simpler and more enjoyable experience for
customers. The new store will offer the widest ranges and best selection of
electricals from both Currys and PC World ensuring a better shopping
experience for customers.

The new joint store showcases thousands of products including a huge
range of TVs, digital cameras and MP3/MP4 players as well as brands such as
Apple, Bose and Panasonic.

The new 2-in-1 store offers customers a "hands-on product experience
coupled with extended product ranges, which is designed to meet all
technology needs. This store has a huge selection of interactive "play
tables allowing customers to pick up, turn on and test out a wide range of
products before they purchase including premium brands such as DeLonghi and
Jura.

service and a new in-store experience, Currys and PC World remain committed
to giving customers the best priced electrical goods.

The Poole 2in1 Megastore is part of an ongoing Currys and PC World
refurbishment program across the country. Richard added: "The Poole Megastore
will offer an unbeatable combination of value, choice and service and will be
the number one destination for electrical products in the area."
